Jack really liked this and it was so cheap and easy to make. It's a two liter bottle with no lid. I cut a square at the bottom and lined it with tape so that he could retrieve the pom poms after he puts them in the top. Fun. Cheap. Easy.
I made this for the little 15 month old that I babysit, he thought it was the greatest thing EVER! He played with it for onver 20 minutes straight! thanks so much for the great idea!
It's so funny to stumble across this post! I JUST did this tonight with my 19 month old and he really enjoyed it. (I used a 16 oz bottle and the smallest size of pompoms that I had gotten at the dollar store.) Hadn't thought of cutting a whole in the bottom...I'll have to try that!
Oh I am soo going to try this with my son. He loves playing with change and taking it out pf the piggy bank to put it back in but I don't like him playing with those. Thanks for the great idea!
